8 Star Addition & Renovation

A modern “rural shed” style addition built on the north side of a traditional mountain cottage, added an extra 2 bedrooms one with ensuite, a separate bathroom, and living room to the home.  Blackbutt was used for the double glazed sashless windows and bifolding door to deck.  The original cottage cladding was removed so that insulation could be installed to improve the thermal performance of the home. The addition achieved an 8 star energy rating. All double glazed timber windows and doors were skilfully made by Against the Grain Windows & Doors.
